Department of Pathology

Introduction :

Pathology is the key subject that bridges pre-clinical sciences (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry) to clinical branches. It helps in understanding causes, mechanisms, and diagnosis of diseases.

Academic Programmes:

The programme is 12 months long with training through lectures, seminars and tutorials.

Teaching Programme:

Teaching schedules are prepared monthly and displayed for students.

Seminars:

Conducted every 15 days with presentations and inter-departmental sessions.

Tutorials:

Small-group discussions to encourage active learning.

Tests:

Monthly assessments are conducted.

Internal Assessment Examinations:

Three internal exams are conducted as per university guidelines.
