Gynecology and Obstetrics are the studies of the female reproductive system.
Obstetrics is the field of medical practice that deals with pregnancy, childbirth, and the care of mothers and infants during the postpartum period.
Gynecology is a science dealing with the diseases of women’s reproductive organs. It deals with health issues of women starting right from birth up to menopause.
The purpose of studying Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Homoeopathic undergraduate course is to provide students with the knowledge of health and disease dynamics of the female reproductive system and gain ability to optimally manage common conditions affecting it with Homoeopathic medicines.
