Materia Medica is nothing but Medical Material which is generally applied and concerned with their respective systems.
Homoeopathic Materia Medica is concerned with Homoeopathic system and is differently constructed as compared with other systems of Medicines.
It is constructed by providing the drug agents and Healthy Human beings of the different age groups and both the sexes.
The Homoeopathic Materia Medica consists of a schematic arrangement of symptoms produced by each drug on healthy human beings. Each drug should be studied synthetically, analytically and comparatively. This alone would enable a Homoeopathic student to study each drug individually and on a whole and help him to be a good Homoeopathic prescriber.
