Introduction :

Forensic or Legal Medicine deals with the application of medical knowledge to aid in the administration of justice. It helps in solving legal problems like injuries, murder, suicide, accidents, poisoning, etc.

Museum:

The department has a well-equipped museum with charts, specimens, and educational materials.

Objectives :

1. Prepare medico-legal reports.
2. Preserve exhibits in poisoning cases.
3. Estimate age for legal purposes.
4. Examine skeletal remains.
5. Identify injuries and weapons.
6. Recognize poisons and their effects.
